He’s targeting a triangle of death between the linebacker, apex defender (slot cornerback), and outside cornerback. His processing ability is obviously his calling card, and he shows why here. What Jones lacks in arm strength, he makes up for with his rapid release. Jones does an outstanding job layering this throw between the linebacker and cornerback and putting it in a place where his receiver can go up and get it.
